City Lit also offers a range of courses for performers interested in Musical Theatre

Sing music theatre workshop (courses throughout the year):
for singers new to the style and actors who want to develop their singing. You need to be fairly confident in solo singing and have the ability to learn a song from memory during the course.

Musical theatre dance (courses through the year):
for anyone who wants to learn steps and routines from West End / Broadway shows. Suitable for beginners to dance as long as you are able to cope with a physical class.

Stagecraft for singers (Nov, Feb):
workshop for singers wanting to develop their stage technique and performance skills in order to become more proficient on the stage. Please note that this course is open to singers in any genre, so there will be singers from rock, pop, jazz and classical background as well as musical theatre.

Singing in the rain (March 2020): a study morning on the iconic musical film from 1952.

Great musicians: Noël Coward (July 2020): a look at Coward’s career and multi-faceted talent, via samples from his plays, songs and films, focusing on his musical output.
